The typhoon is expected to transition into a tropical depression after 9 p.m. on the 8th and is projected to reach the vicinity of Utsunomiya City around 9 a.m. on the 9th.
In Mobara City, Chiba Prefecture, 230.5 millimeters of rain fell in the six hours until 10:20 a.m. on the 8th, marking the highest recorded six-hour precipitation in the region's history.
